This urostomy pouch uses a spiral adhesive and erosion-resistant ring within the adhesive to minimize adhesive erosion. This also gives the skin additional protection from the corrosive effects of urine. An anit-reflect valve prevents urine from washing over the stoma to reduce the risk of urinary infections.
